This is a beautiful Elgin pocket watch in a 14k yellow gold case with a pretty bird engraving. It has 7 jewels Size 12s, serial number 24093862. It runs but stops, certainly needs cleaning. The case is 4.5 cm in diameter and 6.2 cm top ring to bottom. It weighs 1.99 troy ounces or 62.1 grams. The case is in good condition, engraving nice and bright. The shield on the back is lacking a monogram, you could put your own on. The back flap doesn’t seem to close completely, the lip might be worn from being clicked closed by previous owners. This beautiful watch features a detailed 14K yellow gold hunter case with fine carving of a bird and floral scenery. The work is superb making the case a real eye catcher. The movement is a fancy. With decorations on the top surface. The dial is white porcelain with Arabic numerals. This watch measures 45mm side to side, 59mm bottom to bow and 61.7 grams total. This watch, especially with such a fancy case is very collectible and a great time piece to invest in.
