This listing is for a pretty unusual antique pocket watch. It is an Ancre 8 day pocket watch in a most unusual steel box case. The case is steel and square and measures 2 inches or 50 mm on a side. At the bottom of the case is a button that opens the back cover. The dial of the watch has gold hands and gold etched design against a silver background. The numbers each sit on a raised circle. The watch shows the watch movements exposed escape wheel at the bottom. The dial is protected by a brass bezel and crystal cover. The movement is stem wound.
