Elgin Grade 95 Model 1 6 Size Gold Filled Full Hunter Pocket Watch ca. This antique Elgin grade 95, model 1, 7 jewel, 6 size, full hunter pocket watch has a gold filled case measuring approximately 41.5mm in diameter x 2 1/4 inches long including bow. The case is completely hand engraved with a guilloche finish and small polished circle on the front. The case has a light patina and overall light wear for it’s age. The front, back and dust cover hinges all open, close and secure properly. The white enamel dial has black Roman numerals, blue light spade hands, a single sunk seconds register at six o’clock and is marked “Elgin”. The dial has a very light hairline near seven but the dial is in otherwise good condition. The minute hand falls off. The inside back case is stamped “12766″. The gilt movement is stamped Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. All screws and jewels appear to be in good condition. This watch is stem wind, lever set. This watch is running. No guarantee of future performance. This Elgin could be in great antique condition with just a little work. Offered for sale is an antique Elgin National Watch Co. Pocket watch, made in USA ca. This is a 16-size watch, and measures approximately 50mm (2) diameter. This watch features a yellow gold filled hunting case with an engine turned design and a blank cartouche on the front, a 17-jewel Grade 386 stem-wind stem-set movement, and comes with a white double sunk dial with black Arabic numerals and b lue steel spade hands. The case is in very good condition, showing signs of normal pocket carry and some very light brassing (not noticeable unless you look very closely). The dial is in excellent condition, showing no visible cracks or chips. The movement runs and keeps excellent time.
