Pocket Watch Case

Dissolution from the watchmaker’s workshop. You can find more rarities in my other auctions. I offer for sell a very rare antique pocket watch. In age-related condition, damaged. In age-related condition with signs of wear. No duration or time keeping checked. I offer the watch as for revision or repair.

The Vintage Hampden Grade Special Railway 18s 23 jewel pocket watch is snap bezel display case. Watch is currently running as shown on the time graph photos. Case lids are very different to snap on and off so buyers is aware. I use been using a razor blade to pop them off. The front bezel to access the setting lever takes a lot of pressure to go back on. Crystals are all thick class. I would consider the case more of a poor quality one. The movement as it runs can see on the time graph it’s not running the best but stays running and keeps very close time till the mainspring is let down. Dial has some imperfections but in nice shape. Condition can be made by your own judgement by photos. Great piece to just displays the gorgeous movement.

Very nice sterling silver case with multicolor gold inlays on the back! Original sterling silver bow. Runs and keeps time, service history unknown. Slightly low amplitude, should be serviced for optimal timekeeping and preservation in the long run. Crystal has some scratches. As-is Vintage watch policy: “Parts/Repair/Service”.
