Pocket Watch Case

This is an antique (circa 1896) Hampden Special Railway 17J pocket watch with 18s gold filled Hunter case. Its condition is consistent with its age. The hunter case is operational; it opens and shuts as it should. The outer back lid is marked “Dueber Canton O USA trade mark 3347397″. The inner back lid is marked “Guaranteed to be made of 10 Karat Gold over hard metal and to wear for 20 years”. It has the same trade mark number as the outer lid. This piece has a Roman Numeral dial. All three hands are intact, however the hour hand is slightly bent. Dial has some minor signs of wear, mainly dirt/grease accumulation. Antique 1896 Elgin Grade 104 16s 7j Coin Silver Pocket Watch Case Fahys No. Running steadily, but not keeping accurate time. Losing 580 seconds per day according to my timegrapher. There are scratches on the thick glass crystal, a few hairline cracks on the dial. Case is generally good, with expected scratches and bumps of 125 years.
