J JOHNSON LONDON – A SILVER PAIR CASED VERGE POCKET WATCH. The outer case with bold rococo design of figures , the original dial with outer Arabic and inner Roman numerals, gold hands, the movement signed and numbered 1481. A Rare Antique 18th silver pocket watch with embossed Repousse Silver Case. Period: 18th century Condition: Good condition Material: Sterling silver Width: 65mm Depth: 30mm. The watch with double silver case, the external finely embossed with a gallant scene in silver, the internal smooth semore in 925 sterling silver. The mechanism has a stem escapement and a winding coil, balustrade columns. And signed The dial is enamelled white with Roman numerals and baroque hands. This is a Very Nice 18SZ, Elgin antique pocket watch & fob in nice 25yr Gold Filled Hunters Case Total wt. Its a 7 jewels movement – just serviced, Runs good. The full size Hunters Case has quit a bit of ware as you can see in the pictures, but still looks good. The #s on the movement are, 8635363, made in 1900. This is a 121 year old watch, running very good, Its 54.5 mm. From side to side. The dial is very clean, has a few hairlines, you can see in the pictures. The crystal is very nice , looks to be new.
