Hamilton 992B Railway Special railroad grade pocket watch. USA model 5 grade 992B, 21 jewels, 16s, nickel movement is adjusted to temperature and 6 positions. Serial number C28425 dates this pocket watch to 1941. Watch case is hallmarked Wadsworth 10K gold filled PAT 5-22-26. This Wadsworth railroad model watch case has the bar over the crown. The bow is very uniquely designed for durability and strength to endure railroad service. Top of the crown reads HAMILTON RAILROAD. There are some scratches pocket wear on the back cover. The dial and crystal are in excellent condition. This Railroad Special 992B grade pocket watch winds, sets and runs with no issues balance wheel has brisk motion.
