This is an excellent antique Hamilton 16 size 21 jewel adjusted 992B pocket watch in a very nice 10k gold filled Hamilton case out of an estate! The lever-set movement has is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. 992B 21 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions C232992. The double sunk porcelain dial is marked: Hamilton Railway Special. The dial has a crack in the finish between 9 and 10 o’clock – see photos. The watch will currently wind/set properly, and will run when wound. The case is in good condition, with light scratches, and a small ring of wear-through around the edge of the case back. Inside the case back is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. 10K Gold Filled Lancaster, PA. We do not know the service history on this watch, and recommend it be serviced to keep running and keep time.
