The case back has monogramming in the center cartouche. The glass crystal has no cracks or chips. A very interesting and most important silver pair case. WITH SILVER BACK PLATE AND A BALANCE COCK WITH. A verge, fusee movement. T MOORE LISTED MAKER. The inner silver case with the watch size of case is 42 m. Both cases are hallmarked London for 1768. The weight of the watch 105 grams. All the hinges and clips work well on the cases. The dial has some small fissures probable bleach out. Very fine original blued steel beetle and poker hands. The glass is very high bull nose clean and clear. The fire gilt movement look just like the day it left the work shop. The watch runs well. Verge time keeping C + or – 2-3 minuets per hour. With a silver back plate, a very interesting green glass cover over the balance cock , square pillars, a Tompion regulator. Signed on the back plate T MOORE LONDON. MOORE IS VERY WELL LISTED. Watch will come with a key. Rare pair case fusee pocket watch with the date in a window on the dial. This watch is signed by Debeaufre-London on the dial and on the movement. It was made in the second quarter of the 18th century. The outer case is with one accident (look at the picture). The inner case is correct regarding the age. The silver dial is very nice and in the center it is a small windows to. Indicate the date (from 1 to 31). This is very rare. The coq is very large and a dog is figured inside. The diamater of the inner case is 47 mm and the thickness is 28 mm. The movement is complete, no part is missing, it runs but sometimes it stop. It will be interesting to oil it.
