Up for sale is an rare Pre Civil War Waltham 1857 model 18s key wind pocket watch made in 1860, right before the Civil War began. This watch runs very good and keeps very good time. Serviced: This watch was just serviced (all parts removed, cleaned, new unbreakable mainspring, oiled, and adjusted to keep very good time). Movement : This watch is running very good and keeping great time! The movement is a very nice P. S Bartlett Grade key wind with a 11 jewel movement, big beautiful jewels, the original balance wheel, and a gilt movement. This movement is all original and has all matching serial numbers. Dial : The original Waltham dial is in good condition. Case : The Waltham coin silver case is in very good condition. This is a very neat and heavy 4 oz case. The case has good hinges and a good lift spring. The crystal is glass. This is a nice looking watch! This case is not original to the movement. This watch is ready for display or carry!
