Presented is a nice example of the Hamilton Railroad grade 992B in its original Model 2 case, with its original double sunk dial and great running high grade movement. The lever set open face movement is a 16′s with 21 jewels, featuring nice bright nickle straight lined damaskeened plates with black lettering, Elinvar Balance with great motion, and gold jewel settings. It was cleaned just a couple of weeks ago and runs great. It is marked Hamilton Watch Co. USA 992B 21 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions and bears the serial number C409677. The movement is clean, the balance has great motion and other than a couple of specks there are no issues I can see. The very Model 2 case looks great with a semi tight bow and is cosmetically in very nice condition but does have some light waves on the back that I can’t depict in the images. The bezels screw off just fine and it is marked on the bottom body “W 10K Gold Filled” and on the inside “Wadsworth 10K Gold Filled”. The original Montgomery double sunk enamel dial is in very nice condition with no issues that I can find other that a touch of bezel rash around the edge and is signed “Hamilton Railway Special” in block. Very nice original black steel hands. Nice original glass crystal.
