The ultra-rare decorated porcelain dial is mint with zero issues. The 14K gold front cover pops open smartly to 90 degrees when the stem is depressed. All other 14K gold covers also open to exactly 90 degrees and all covers snap tightly shut. The wind is silky smooth and it keeps excellent time. Note the incredible hand chased decorations on this superb example. Each cover features large florals, scrolls and hanging Victorian bell designs that shows no wear after 125 years of use! The rear cover also showcases a mountain cabin scene at it’s center. The entire 14K gold case edge has incredible tiny scroll engravings. Please examine the many photos for a close look.
