1861 Civil War Howard Series III Keywind Pocket Watch Hunter Cased RUNS

This is an antique Howard N size keywind pocket watch. The movement is gilt, jeweled, and has EARLY serial number 4585. The watch runs strong, but has not been cleaned or serviced in years. So, I cannot guarantee it to be a reliable timekeeper. The dial is good, with a couple of faint small hairlines that hard difficult to see without a magnifier. The case is not the original Howard case. It is a keywind hunter case, coin silver, 18 size, with good case springs and hinges. The case is a 3 ounce size, and is in very good condition with normal signs of use. You can decide whether to carry it in this case, or find a correct case for it. A key is included.
