Up for sale is a beautiful and pristine silver case Swiss quarter repeater verge fusee antique pocket watch, circa 1820. The watch has just been cleaned and serviced and the movement is in perfect working condition. It runs to the end of the fusee chain very smoothly and keeps very good time. The repeater mechanism functions perfectly. The sound is loud and clear. The mint movement has a push pendant quarter repeating two hammers on two gongs. Three arm steel balance. Beautiful engraved balance cock. The mint fire gilt movement is unsigned. The case: Silver large case in mint condition. It is a large and heavy silver case pocket watch. The case is 58 mm wide. The watch weighs 140 grams. The extremely good original enamel dial with Arabic numerals is unsigned. The enamel dial has one very small chip next to the winding hole. Very nice blued steel Breguet hands. A lovely high domed clear crystal glass. Every part of this watch is original. As you can see from the pictures, it is a lovely and spectacular watch in an amazing condition!! Very well priced very low reserve.
