The silver case measures 50mm in diameter. What porcelain dial has some hairlines but is in decent shape with some light hairlines and one small edge chip (cannot be seen with bezel on). The dial is stamped. The 900 silver case is stamped. 0,900 (hallmark)(hallmark) 72780. On the inner back cover. Case is in good shape. The movement is signed. SWITZERLAND Continental Watch Co. Stem wind and lever set (lever located at the left of the crown). The watch runs the full length of the mainspring BUT only in the FACE DOWN position. When the watch is turned dial side up, it will run for up to a minute then stop. I checked the balance staff and it looks ok. Maybe the top jewel or the balance pivot is dirty. Either way, it will need some cleaning. The calendar discs to the back are all functioning except for the DAY because of the missing button. Im sure any competent jeweler can fabricate one. The bottom dial is quite unusual. Instead of the typical moonphase discs that you see, this one has a rotating inner disk that shows a moon in its different phases full, crescent, etc. Also, that bottom dial has a nice scene overlooking a bridge with mother of pearl accents.
