The crown rotates easily by hand. There are areas of heavy spotty surface wear on the inside of the case. The crystal is intact. There are several very small pieces of dust trapped underneath the crystal. The two larger hands are intact and the smallest is missing. Illinois Watch Case Co. There are a couple of very small nicks on the sides of the case. There is a small amount of darkening around the crown. The crystal is intact and has an antique picture attached to the underside of it. All hands are intact and are not bent or broken. There are a few small pieces of dust trapped under the crystal. There are areas of dark discoloration, spotty greening, and scratching inside of the case. The crystal is intact and there are several small pieces of dust trapped underneath. DESCRIPTION : A Lange & Söhne, Glashütte B/Dresden, first quality 1a with nickel damascene plates in Lange box , 52mm, heavy 18 karet yellow gold open-face original “CWS” marked case for American market, gold cuvette in addition to glazed observation cover, very unusual stem-wind stem-push-setting (hold in crown to set – this unusual device was designed to only work with the back cover open, and has an open slot where a now-missing pin protrudes into a hole in the back cover edge – the pin can be easily replaced, and the hole in the internal lever that it went into may be threaded for more security on installation using screw instead of pin), white enamel dial, fully capped lever escapement, diamond endstone, gold pallet and escape wheel, 20 jewels, screwed in gold jewel settings, unusual fausses-côtes nickel damascene plate decoration with twin dividing lines, s#14777. Gross weight of assembled watch 85.0 pennyweight (132.2 g).
