Pocket Watch Case

This recent find comes from Estate of Retired Engineer and had been a gift many years ago. Watch is in Excellent overall condition with minimal wear and hardly looks carried. Made in France by ARNEX The 10 micron Hunter Case measures 36mm with a hinged front and Pop back a Black Dial with Roman Numerals and a Recently Serviced 17J Incabloc Handwind movement – Runs Great (Serviced March 2022). Pocket Watch has its Original box and Papers (Box has minor storage wear) but is in Very Good condition.

The lever cut location is for the Waltham type with cut on the Left Side. There is lever cut on the left side case for lever set movements. NOTE: Although there is lever cut, the cut may not fit your movement. The crown can also be pulled up to accommodate Pendant Set movements. Case: Open Face, both covers screw on/off. CASE CONDITION: The glass looks good with no scratches or cracks… A minor scuff at the most. No scratches or bends on the case… A few scuffs only. Very light wear at most…. One ding on the back. The outside back has not been engraved with initials “EN”. The loop on the top rotates perfectly. MOVEMENT CONDITION: The time does adjust. The clock does wind. It isnt running so it will need a little maintenance to get going. The face looks good with light signs of age only. 1911 Elgin Grade 314 12s 15 Jewel Pocket Watch Rolled Gold Plate Hunter Case. 15844400, the case is a Philadelphia Watch Case Co Victory Model with a serial #4752088.. Good condition for its age. There is some plate loss on the inside cover of the case and some minor scratches from age. There is no crystal on the face, it was broken and removed at some point. Great find and would make a good addition to any collection. Movement Serial # 10448905. Estimated Production Date: 1904. Case: Fahys 14K 25 Year Watch Case 7044385. Data Research : 1904 Elgin Serial List. Note : It didn’t want to keep running. It will start for awhile and stop. I quit playing with it because it was getting wound tight.
