Pocket Watch The original owner of this pocket watch was a train engineer in the 1800s. It has been in his family ever since. The white porcelain face says Elgin Nat’l Watch Co. Inside case is marked 1982 and P. Co and it looks lie a name is inscribed in script above this. The key is included. It does not run and is missing the second hand. Inside it says M. Ogden and has a Serial # 268556 made in 1874? Hinges in great shape and all open to 90 including the crystal one. The case lid spring in good shape. Shows signs of wear and use as shown. Measures 57.5mm external diameter. 94883 WATCH IS 45G OF 18K WITH NO CRYSTAL. THE CASE IS STAMPED 18K INSIDE THE FRONT THE BACK AND DUST COVER. I WOUND THE WATCH 1 TURN AND THE WATCH STARTED. THE MOVEMENT IS FULL JEWELED. NO CRYSTAL BUT THE BEZEL IS WITH THE WATCH. THE CASE IS PUSH BUTTON FOR THE FRONT AND BACK. THERE IS A FEW SMALL DINGS OR DENTS. I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN THIS WATCH WAS LAST SERVICED?? VERY VERY NICE WATCH.
