ANTIQUE 1908 WALTHAM SILVERODE POCKET WATCH TRAIN ON BACK CASE in Working Order.

2 inches across x 2.5 inches tall x 1/4 inch thick. It is marked on inside Elgin Natl Watch Co. Philadelphia Watch Case Co. It does not work but gears sporadically spin and it probably needs a cleaning. I know nothing about watches so ask questions before purchasing. Item has some wear, scuffs, dings from age and use. Fresh from an upstate NY estate.

Coin edge Railroad case will work with stem or lever set movements. This grade 820, also referenced as 81, is stem set. Not running, for parts/repair. Bezel and case back unscrew smoothly. Case back has some surface scratches which should polish out. Nice clean railroad style dial with a small hairline crack by the one o’clock marker. Missing second hand, but post is there.
