An excellent piece of high-end collecting and Swiss watches. Brand LOUIS BRANDT & FRERE. Circa 1910 (watch with 114 years old). Dial porcelain with roman numerals, signed LOUIS BRANDT & FRERE. Solid silver case, numbered 5772486, signed LOUIS BRANDT & FRERE. “Ligne Droite Spiral Breguet” – “Balancier Compense”. Open and close the covers in excellent condition. Measures: 51mm (excluding crown). Excellent working and performance. It has a maintenance service before putting it up for sale. Offered is a scarce KW Elgin Frances Rubie pocket watch. There are supposed to be 3 runs of 1000 of these, but I believe none have been found from the third run. This one has an early Boss patent gold-filled case, the only brass showing is the bow. The front cover opens to slightly beyond 90 degrees. The movement has bright gilding – nicer than most, but has a broken balance staff so is not running. Don’t miss this scarce watch.
