Antique Pocket Watch Zenith Silver 800 Mechanical Cover Case 3-lid Rare Old 20th. Good vintage condition as on the photos! It is truly a masterpiece watch. Case – 800 silver with blackening. The watch is in good condition, after cleaning and lubrication, at a steady pace without stopping, after a full cheat it takes more than 30 hours. Pocket watch (3-cap) Zenith in silver (800 sample) with blackening case. Made in Switzerland during the First World War (1915 or 1917). All lids close tightly. Very comfortable factory head. Swiss anchor stroke with microregulator. Abrasion on the front cover of the case, spots on one gear (see photo). This is a lovely item to own or to give as a special gift. Illinois 16s Model 8 Dial. 16 size double-sunk enamel pocket watch dial for hunting case Model 8 or Model 12 movement. Rare railroad style dial correct for a hunting case Bunn Special, Bunn, A. Lincoln, or Sangamo Special of appropriate vintage. Feet positions are correct to Model 8 and Model 12 movements, and excellent dials such as this for these railroad grade hunting case models are extremely hard to come by. Absolutely beautiful dial but with a few very mild flaws along its outermost perimeter – a small faint hairline tight along the edge outside the 40 to 42 minute positions, a very small faint hairline tight along the edge outside the 35 minute position, and a minuscule edge flake outside the 19 minute position. This is an extremely rare Rolex Prince Imperial observatory grade pocket watch from around the 1940s. This model was produced in very small quantities from the early 1940s until the early 1950s in gold and Rolesium cases, like this fine example. Rolesium is a platinum-steel alloy material that Rolex patented in 1932. The design of this Rolex Imperial was unusual, even by Rolex’s creative standards. With a strikingly novel shape of the case, this was and still is an absolutely elegant pocket watch that could be worn for any occasion. The watch case measures 41mm x 37. The overall cosmetic and operating condition is very good, especially considering it is around 80 years old. The watch is all original, including the signed crown.
