Pocket Watch Case

This is one of the “Holy Grails” in pocket watches: an original Lange & Sohne prime quality 18K solid gold, heavy hunter case (nearly 100 grams) pocket watch from around 1902. Only a small percentage of Lange movements are of this quality grade. Also, the lower grades were housed in 14k or silver cases. The overall condition is good, as shown on the pictures, with signs of use on the case (engravings on both case lids). The untouched original dial has miniscule hairlines as pictured, hardly noticeable without magnification, the Louis gold hands are also originals. The watch is accompanied with the original case – indeed a rare heirloom collector’s set. Hard to find 18s Railroad Grade Hamilton 21 Ruby Jewels adjusted to temperature and 5 position isochronism. Movement is absolutely fabulous to admire. Dial has a tiny tiny hairline as seen in pictures. I see no case making markers but she is a beauty. I have never seen on quite like this.
