E. Howard Hunting Case Pocket Watch

Nice clean E Howard size N (18) this pocket watch has great. Needs a COA (clean oil adjust). To run, Balance is good. This pocket watch has been in storage vault for 20 plus years, oil turned gummy. Case great shape no brass showing. Has nice horse on back cover. Hard to see over gold shine. Dial looks good for age cracks by 6 o’clock. Movement still shines great need a service to run. You can not go wrong with this pocket watch. Look at pictures , they are part of description. This is stem wind lever set Railroad grade for sure in 1868. Now 151 years old. I’m guessing 15 or 17 jewel Howard never skimped on. Quality, they were the best high grade pocket watches made back in the day. The item “E. E. Howard Series VI Pocket Watch With 14k Gold Case-only 5,500 Made

For your consideration is a Series VI 6S, 15J E. This watch was produced between 1874 to 1878. There were only 5,500 of these watches produced by the E. This is a very beautiful watch which looks like it was made yesterday and will be a great addition for someone wanting perfection in their collection. Watch is in working condition. The Dial is excellent condition. I did not remove the bezel on this watch. Everything is so tight on this watch almost as in brand new condition. The Umbrella Hands are nicely blued. The crystal has a few small cracks. The Movement is a very nice gilt with the Letter G. The serial number is 104243. The watch is stem wind and lever set. The Hunter Case is 14K Gold and weighs 59 grams total weight. The front cover functions as it should, a little tight. All three covers only open to about 88-89 degrees all very tight. The case is very, very ornate and looks like it was made yesterday. Does not look like it was ever carried. The backside of the dust cover has the following inscription: J. Comes with a black spring loaded outer carrying case which looks like it might be original to the watch. Please continue to check back. All REASONABLE OFFERS will be considered. E. HOWARD SERIES X POCKET WATCH withGOLD FILLED CASE-TOTAL PRODUCTION ONLY 1,500

For your consideration is an E. Howard Series X, J Size (12S) with 15 Jewels Pocket Watch. Watch was made between 1892 to 1899 and has a nice nickel movement. Total production of this Series by E. Howard was only 1,500. Watch is in working condition. The Dial has three small hairlines which can be seen in the pictures. Overall a very nice dial. The Umbrella Hands are nicely blued. The beveled crystal has normal scratches and small scuffs from daily use that do not interfere with reading the time. The Movement is a nice nickel with some scratches. The serial number is 500926. The watch is stem wind and stem set. The Open Face Hinged Case is marked Warranted Crescent 20 years. All three covers open right at 90 degrees. Overall the case doesn’t show much wear. There are what look like six pin pricks on the back cover which do not go through the case. They can be seen on the inside of the back cover. Almost looks like somebody got bored or a small child used a needle or ball point pen on it. Please continue to check back. All REASONABLE OFFERS will be considered.
