Georges Favre-Jacot (Early Zenith) Pocket Watch – Running, May Run Late – Decorative Hunter Case – Antique 19th/early 20th Century. A beautiful historical piece from the earliest era of Zenith watchmaking. Running Condition – Needs Servicing. The movement winds and runs after winding. It may occasionally stop, but starts running again after gentle shaking or picking up the watch. There are no visible defects. The watch would likely benefit from a proper cleaning and servicing to ensure stable performance. ? Decorative Repoussé Hunter Case Features a detailed raised hunting scene on the back. The case is non-silver (base metal), but very attractive and collectible due to its artwork. ? Original Enamel Dial (Damaged) The dial is enamel with several cracks and a chipped area at 1 o’clock (see photos). Hands are original blued steel. ? Early Pre-Zenith History Marked “Georges Favre-Jacot”, the founder of Zenith. These early signed pieces represent the origins of the brand. Working movement (runs but sometimes late).
