This is an Aurora Watch Co. Hunter case pocket watch. The movement is 17 jewel. It is a size 18. It has a gold filled case. There is wear to the case. The Aurora Watch Co. Was only in business for a short time before being bought by Hamilton Watch Co.

It is a manual wind pocket. With an original Elgin. Mechanical movement, grade 289, 7 Jewels. Model 2, 6s, class 115, unadjusted, sub second hand, made in U. Original white ceramic dial featuring black Roman Numerals, black minute track (with red Arabic Numerals every 5min) and blue steel matching hands. The sub second is located at 6 o’clock. Fantastic, what can be assumed, gold plated engraved pocket watch case with long, intact, chain. Dueber brand case with intact glass facing and 23 inch chain. Chain features a beautiful gold plated slider with pearl inlay. Slider is smooth and functional. Engraving is elegant and unique. Engraving matches front to back with the back engraving including a incredibly delicate castle scene. Case includes a wind top that also acts as the push button to open the front casing.
