Special watch, issue for ADAC German Touring club to be awarded to a members. The watch was awarded to important Bulgarian Industrial the owner initials VRI engraved in the medallion on back. This is very good preserved watch with some traces of age, on the back some wear on niello decoration. It is featuring original crystal glass, porcelain enamel dial with cabriolet automobile and ADAC logo. The watch was recently oiled and inspected by professional watchmaker, running and keep time excellent. Very rare watch in my opinion. Measures: Case diameter: 52mm. Beautiful Doxa 8 day goliath pocket watch in a heavy screw lidded brass case. This dates to 1910-20 and would have been used for a car boat or plane. Watch measures 64mm in diameter and the case across the lid is 85mm in diameter. The white enamel dial has hair lines between 9 and 5 and the dial is marked doxa 8 days. The watch is running but has not been checked for time keeping. A rare survivor with its original case. Any questions please ask.
