Vacheron & Constantin 18k gold hunter case Pocket Watch. ¼ Repeater Geneva 1900. Beautiful and manufactured in the finest quality hunter case pocket watch with ¼ repetition and solid 18k gold case of the Geneva watchmaker Vacheron & Constantin, Switzerland around 1900. The case is made of solid 18k gold with spring lid. Case in very good condition without some traces of wear. Spring lid with engraved monogram heart. Dust cover with brand “Vacheron & Constantin Geneve ” and an engraved owners brand. Cover with Vacheron & Constantin cross mark and frence gold importmarks in all lids. Glass in very good condition. Enamelled dial with Roman hour and Arabic minute. The dial is in very nice condition , undamaged. Three golden hands, subsidiary seconds. Beautiful and gilt movement with free standing bridges, stem wind and lever escapement. Lever with visible stones. Large visible jewels in the bridges. A bimetallic balance wheel with screw weights with and blued spring. Eschapement with counter weights. Wolf toothed winding wheels. ¼ repeater with two hammers on two gongs. Triggering the repetition with slider under number 6. The clean movement runs flawlessly. Very nice overall condition. Diameter 53mm, weight 125g. Sehr gut / very good.
