Antique verge pair case silver pocket watch. Edward Hemmen, London, circa 1791. Movement signed and numbered 15755. Key wind full plate gilt fusee and chain movement with verge escapement. Turned pillars and pierced balance cock. White enamel convex dial with its original steel hands. Having Roman numeral hour markers and Arabic quarters. And covered with an orignal bulls eye glass. The silver pair cases both hallmarked London 1791. And with the case makers mark TG. The cases in good antique condition. Although the bow has been replaced a long time ago. With its winding key. In the outer case back are some watchmakers repair papers. Outer case diameter 52mm, 25mm thick over the glass. The watch works, it runs for a full 30 hours but runs fast.
