This is a good, strong everyday case. Both bezels screw on/ off and the pendant hardware is good. This case will work for any size 18 American movement including: Waltham, Illinois, Elgin, Hamilton, and others. This case can work for either lever or pendant set movements. English Regency Gilt and Patinated Bronze Figural Desk Timepiece, c. With a putti modelled standing on a weighted base holding aloft a silver gilt case dated 1797 with a chain and fusée verge movement signed (Samuel) Deacon, Barton and numbered 6297.
Case weight = 58.7 grams. With stem and crown. Measures 53mm outside diameter. Condition is very good for its age and type with typical scratches and nicks.
