Jules Perrenoud Locle Swiss double hunter yellow gold key-wind pocket watch pendant w/ 19″ watch chain & original case – Watch is signed and case is numbered “N 2637. Watch has second hand movement. Lovely antique double hunter pocket watch works – e xcellent antique preowned condition, watch measures 1.5″ x 2.25″ watch weighs 49 grams (1.73 oz). Watch has small push button on top of the windy bit, which doesn’t actually wind the clock, the push button bit opens the 2 sides of the case. The outer case has minor dents which do not (in my opinion) detract from the beauty of the case. The “key” does the winding of the clock, which works and keeps time. The winding “key” is 1.75″ long and stamped with tiny stars and “SEPT 1874 assuming then that the watch was made in 1874, that would mean it’s 149 years old! The watch face is missing a crystal, assuming it ever had one, don’t know! I do not know the “gold” content, whether it is gold-filled or gold-enameled or some gold composite material. I have not had the watch appraised. The watch chain does not magnetize (as stated below) the pocket watch does attach to a magnet, therefore, please draw your own inference. Chain has links with T bar which is a detachable fob. Can be worn as a neck chain for a trendy fashion statement. The watch pendant is just the right size and weight to be worn on the watch chain. Pocket watch has original “key” for winding, inside case “silk” material is a bit raveled (see images), otherwise wooden case opens and closes with clasp, the case measures 3.25″ x 4″. I have not opened the watch to see the inner mechanics, I’m nervous about forcing an opening or breaking it, since I don’t know what I’m doing..
