Swiss Montandon Key Wind 15J Pocket Watch with 18k Solid Gold Hunter Case and 14k Gold Filled 13.75 Chain (Includes Key) Circa 1880′s. 15 Jewel unsigned swiss movement. Setting : Key wind / Key set. Dial : White enamel single sunk dial with Roman numerals. Case : 18k Solid Gold Hunter Case. Hallmarked, Inside rear cover with engraved name. Cuvette signed Montandon Geneva. Diameter : 43.57 mm. Weight : (watch only) 63.45 grams. Chain : 1/10 14k Gold Filled 13.75 (35cm) end to end. Ticks briefly and then stops. Balance appears to have a spot of oxide or dirt on it. Case : Excellent crisp engraving detail and engine turning. A few small scratches on both covers. Some very small dings on front cover. Some light scratches inside covers and on cuvette. Front cover will tip forward and close easily with gravity. Stiff bow is worn thin at the top. Crystal : Glass crystal is cracked in half. Chain : Very little wear to chain. Hook is worn to brass.
