A MODEL 1890 AMERICAN WALTHAM WATCH CO. 6 size, 15 Jewel, 32mm diameter, pendant set nickel movement, housed in a Roy, 14k solid gold, 6 size, Hunting Case. The case is decoratively hand engraved, in excellent condition, and is free of any personalized markings or damages. Movement features damaskeening, has a gold center wheel and jewel settings, and is running. The dial has some hairlines (see pics), but they do not detract from the watches appearance. This is an excellent Hamilton 16 size 21 jewel adjusted 992B pocket watch in a Hamilton/Keystone 10k gold filled case out of an estate! The lever-set movement is marked: Hamilton Watch Co. 992B 21 Jewels Adj. And 6 Positions C228815. As of listing it, the watch is running, and smooth to wind/set. We do not know the service history and recommend it be serviced. The dial is marked Hamilton Railway Special. The dial is in fair condition, there are some cracks in the finish – see photos. The original glass crystal has been replaced with a plastic one at some point. The case is in great condition, showing only light scratches.
