Offered for sale is a beautiful, Solid 14KT Gold Hunter Case “Ladies” watch produced by the Elgin Mfg. This is the information on the watch based on the Mfg. Pendant Wind and Set. T he watch is in working/running condition but unknown as to when it was last serviced/cleaned. The case is solid 14KT gold and the backside of the case has a small dimple in it as shown in the pictures. The enameled face in in very nice condition with no crack lines or chips. The inside dust cover has a set of three Gothic initials as shown in the pictures. The dark spots are reflections off the dark blue camera. (see pictures for close ups). Just what a Colonial Lady needed for Busseling about the Colonies! Pretty little Solid Gold watch, 41mm in diameter with a Fancy Jeweled Dial and Bezel. Orange Enameling over Engine turned case back. Good Verge Fusee Movement That Runs well, (tompion regulator). Movement signed “Strasburg” and “Fevner”. Condition: The case acid tests above 16k (x-ray analysis shows 68.96%). The white jewel stones around the bezel and in the dial cartouches are of unknown composition (because they are too small to use a diamond tester on). One cartouche in dial replaced by diamond.
