Pair case verge fusee calendar / stop watch pocket watch dated 1776. This is a key wind Verge Fusee Calendar / Stop watch pair case English made. This watch is dated at 1816. This watch is in very good working condition. Case: The outer Sterling silver case has the Silver halmark and date halmark on the inner bezel. (The same as the inner case) The outer case Has no big dings , just some small scratcher, but the push pin has lost some silver. On the inner back case has been solded over. TheMovement cases is stamped with the case maker L. B, the London halmark, the date halmark for 1776 and the Silver halmark. The case has dings and fine scratches. All hingers on both cases are good and the lids shut tight. The DIAL: The dial is white enamel with one repaired chip on the calenar dial near the center and there are some fine hairlines. The hands look to be gold and are in very good condition and this watch sets and winds with no problems. Has a bull nose crystal with no scratches. The Movement: The beautiful gold gilted Verge Fusee movement is signed I. Roberts LIVERPOOL No 28991. There has no gold loss and the movement is in perfect working order The balance cock has a diamond end stone and the movement is clean. Winds and set very well.
