We are auctioning this great Patek Philippe Ladies Hunting Case Pocket Watch Movement made for Tiffany & Co. There were many Patek Philippe’private label’ pocket watches that were signed Tiffany & Co. Only because the two companies had agreement for Tiffany to retail exclusively in the US market. This movement uses the patented Patek Philippe detent spring design and all of the features are high grade like other Patek Philippe watches. It also has wolf teeth winding wheels, counterpoised lever fork and solid gold balance screws. Condition-wise the movement DOES NOT RUN and the balance staff is good but gummy. We’ve noticed that the escape fork bridge does not have its pillar screws so that could be another reason the watch does not run. There is also no winding stem. Cosmetically the enamel dial is in fantastic shape with only slight edge flakes that takes the loupe to see. It is missing the hour and seconds hands. Movement surface looks very clean and there is no rust. Return can be made if the item received significantly deviate from the lot description and must be made within 3 days after receiving item.
