ANTIQUE 1785 SAMSON VERGE FUSEE PAIR CASE POCKET WATCH REPOUSSE PAINTED DIAL! This watch is in surprisingly good condition. It winds and ticks. Not sure when last cleaned or how accurate it is but it appears in good mechanical condition. Lovely seaside or harbor scene painted on the arcaded dial. Great glass bullseye crystal. Outer case with a repousse scene from Antiquity – a knight with bow, a page or squire with horse and a woman with child? No holes or dents but some smoothing from use and age. Overall diameter of the outer case is approx. Good balance staff and chain between fusee and barrel.
