Pocket Watch Case

The Hamilton 992 was the workhorse timekeeper of the railways back in the early to mid 1900′s. This particular watch is in excellent condition and is running very strong and keeping excellent time. The movement is a 21 ruby jewel adjusted to 5 positions for better timekeeping. The yellow gold filled railroad case is in spectacular condition with a T-bar pattern around the edges. No brassing on the 10kt ygf signed case. The double sunk Hamilton signed porcelain dial is flawless. The crystal has no scratches and is also in excellent condition. The crown is even in excellent condition. This is a stem wind, lever set pocket watch. The serial number of this movement puts its manufacture date at 1924.
