Movement: The movement is running well, it winds, sets, key wind, key set, 2 keys included, keeps nice time, 13 Jewels, Columbus Watch Co, Serial Number 50007, approx 1886 as the cuvette is marked. Case: 55mm – Gold scale logo – gold filled case, the case is amazing and rare, a lion bringing down a giraffe on the front and 2 grazing antelopes on the back, and much more detail to see, there is a name and date on the cuvette, possibly could be buffed out but why, the case is fantastic, opens and closes as it should, crisp hinges, hinged bezel, bow swings loose. As I wrote above, I showed this to a collector and his quote was “finest case I have ever seen”. Dial/Hands: Single Sunk – enamel – small edge line/scratch at 4′oclock, that being said, they do not come much nicer, complimented by a fine set of Victorian hands.
