Antique Welsh 1772 Georgian Silver Verge Fusee Pair Cased Pocket Watch Working. Lovely pair case pocket watch with original beetle and poker hands, original dial and matching cases in good condition. The watch has square pillars and a verge escapement. The London hallmark is for 1772. The watch was made by Thomas Davies who was working in Monmouth Wales from the 1770s to the 1790s. Then the watch was retailed by John Harrit and assayed in London. The watch is in working order but I havent tested fully for timekeeping so I cant guarantee that.
