It is signed on the inside back cover “Rueff Freres”. It has a 17 jewel frost gild Cal 662 chronograph movement, double hammers striking on chimes topped with an original white porcelain dial with black enamel Arabic indexes and sub-seconds. As you can see from the photos the pocket watch is in overall excellent condition. It just needs a few repairs (the push button). The watch weighs 60.00Dwt. Excellent 14K Solid Carved 4 Color Gold 33 Jewel Minute Repeater. This is a Minute Repeater in an excellent 4 color carved solid gold case that is appropriately hallmarked 14K. It runs fine, keeps good time and repeats the time in hours, quarters and minutes. The movement has 33 jewels and a temperature compensating balance with Breguet overcoil hairspring. It is signed “Poitevin, Geneva”. It is stem wound and stem set. The front of the case has a 4-color gold applique with an empty medallion and the back has hand engraved and carved stars. The 14K inside back dust cover is marked “Claude W Wright”. The crystal is mineral glass. The case is 48.9 mm in diameter and the entire watch weighs 3.0 oz. I don’t believe that the crown is original to the watch and probably not solid gold, but the pendant and bow are solid gold like the rest of the watch.
