18s Father Time Up Down. Description: Look at this fine and very scarce old Railroad pocketwatch made by the Elgin Watch Co. Dial: · It has the original double sunk Montgomery porcelain dial with black Arabic numeral hour markers. The dial is signed and is in good condition with no hairlines but a tiny dial repair just below and to the right of the seconds bit. Extremely hard to detect. There is some roughness at the very bottom of the dial at 6 that is covered by the bezel. · The Blued spade hour and minute hands are in excellent condition. · The thick beveled glass crystal is in good but used condition with light scratches. Case: · The 18 size swing ring open face case 4 oz Sterling Silver case is in excellent condition. · The case is appropiately signed. · This is a 18 size case. Movement: · This is a Nickel, nicely damaskeened & finished 21 jewel movement stem wind lever set with wind indicator. · Movement is appropriately signed. · Watch is running and indicating appropriately, although I routinely dont guarantee accuracy.
