Up for sale is an antique Illinois Watch Co 18 size Lafayette model pocket watch in an engraved case with a horse! The movement is a converted key wind and is lever-set and marked: Lafayette Patent Pinion No. The watch will run for a short time, but we do not know the service history, and it will need service to keep running and keep time. The dial is marked: Illinois Watch Co. The dial is in fair condition, with some hairlines – see photos. The case has engraving on the front and back. The back has a horse and the front has an ornate area for initials. There is a case number on inside the dust cover, but no other markings on the case. This is a pre owned & antique Ulysse Nardin swiss pocket watch. Full hunter silver case (0900) with small dent on corner. Big size 52 mm. Carved relief scene with wild horses. Triple signed (case, dial & movement). Original enamel dial with small hairlines really hard to see. High grade Ulysse Nardin mechanical movement. Working condition (movement works strongly).
