This piece is a marriage between an outer enamel on silver two piece case and an 18th century verge fusee movement pocket watch. The mechanism is signed and numbered and in great working condition. The face has a painted rural scene on it with Roman numerals on the dial. A beautiful novelty watch which was created by a watch maker or jeweler a long time ago. This piece is wound up using a number 6 watch key. Movement marked: Abraham Sreadrea Cheyandower No 1819 A great addition to your antique silver and enamel or novelty pocket watch collection. MEASUREMENTS Cased watch measures 1.5″ tall by 2.25″ wide and weighs 6.6oz. CONDITION In good working condition with wear commensurate with age. There are a couple of old spots of damage to the inside of the enamel throughout (please see all pictures as they form part of the condition description).
