Pocket Watch Case

Rare running 1888 Cheshire pocket watch. 3/4 plate 4 jewel movement grade 25 series 3, manufactured in Cheshire Conn. Open face hinged nickel case in good condition only minor scratches and dings due to age and use. The dial hands and crystal are nice, minor scratches on crystal. There is some tarnish and patina to this watch. See photos for condition details. The watch winds smooth and the lever set time set works. The watch keeps time but has not been checked for precision of timekeeping.
