Hamilton Grade 956 Pocket Watch – 16s – 17 Jewels – c. 1921 – Engraved Bass Case. Offered for sale is a classic Hamilton Grade 956 pocket watch, a well-regarded American-made timepiece known for its reliability and clean design. This example dates to circa 1921 and is housed in a nicely engraved case featuring a bass fish motif on the rear, giving it unique character and appeal. Grade: Hamilton 956. Jewels: 17 jewel movement. Movement: Nickel finish, 3/4 plate, pendant set. Dial: Very clean white dial with bold Arabic numerals; only a faint hairline between the 1 and 2, otherwise excellent. Crystal: Clear and in great condition. Case: Attractive engraved rear with bass design. Running: Watch is currently running and appears to keep time (accuracy not formally tested over extended periods). The movement is beautiful and well-presented, showing very nicely for its age.
