Vintage Illinois Pocket Watch Bunn Special 21 Jewels 14K GF Case Openface The. Pocket watches listed in my shop came from a friend’s collection This watch is housed in a 14k white & yellow gold filled open-face case The front and back covers are white gold filled, while the center and stem of the case are yellow gold filled The movement is 60 hr. But have not wound it all the way for fear of over-winding, so I don’t know if it will run for 60 hrs. Movement Serial # : 4996816. Model : 14 Railroad Grade : Yes. Estimated Production Year : 1927 Run Quantity : 1,000. Total Production : 118,200 Size : 16s. Jewels : 21 (Ruby) Movement Configuration : Openface. Movement Finish : Nickel Movement Setting : Lever. Plate : 3/4 Plate Adjusted : Yes. CASE : Wadsworth Quality 14Karat White Gold Filled Pat’s Pend’g Bunn Special Model. CASE : Decorative Engraved Design on bezel of both front and back covers. CASE SERIAL # : 7416944. Is clear with no scratches. Wonderful vintage condition Works well, but runs a bit slow The gold filled case is bright with some surface scratches The crystal and face are clean with no discoloration, chips or cracks with the exception of some paint missing on the number 5 (see photo #12). The mechanics lever, stem, etc. ISSUES : When setting the time, the hands will only move counter-clockwise Sometimes a gentle back & forth movement of the watch is required to “kick-start” the movement.
