16 size 21 jewel Adjusted 5 Positions railroad grade 655 Rockford Wind Indicator. When I put this one away years ago it had been cleaned and serviced, but nothing has been done to it for years. I wound it up a few turns and it started running with good motion. The indicator parts function properly. Note: I did not wind it up fully or check it for timeliness. In general, it’s a bad idea to run a Rockford indicator fully wind or very often since when the mainspring breaks (and they do) some of the indicator parts get broken with it. Sharp mvt with correct matching winding wheels. Super nice looking J. Boss 14K Gold-Filled case. Rare personalized dial is signed N. Was he a jeweler? I don’t know. The dial does have some cracking/hairlines (see near 11 o’clock, there is also a hairline that runs from the indicator bit towards 3 o’clock). This is the only personalized Rockford indicator dial that I’ve ever seen. If you’ve seen many others, then more power to you.
