A truly stunning antique American Waltham pocket watch that has never held a monogram, a real plus for collectors! Having a signed American Waltham Watch Co. Full jewelled 3/4 plate movement with a screwed down gold jewel setting on the balance cock and gold gears! This is your chance to own an exceptional Victorian 14K solid gold American Waltham pocket watch in about mint condition! Featuring a sparkling larger size 3mm round brilliant cut diamond solitaire set in the center of the rear cover and highlighted by a hand engraved six pointed star that radiates out from the sparkling diamond! The sparkling natural diamond is bead & bezel set in a bed of 14K solid gold. This watch is so well made that even the 14K gold cuvee (dust cover) was made with a round indent at the center to accomodate the large size diamond solitaire when the cover is shut as seen in the photographs! This beautiful antique timepiece has a case diameter of 32.5mm and weighs a substantial 33.4 grams. This fine antique American Waltham is in about mint condition with no dings, dents, scratches or repairs. Light overall wear consistent with age keeps it from being absolute mint. All covers open to exactly 90 degrees. The front cover pops open to 90 degrees when the stem is depressed. The bow is excellent with none of the wear or looseness commonly found. The watch is stem wind and set. The wind is silky smooth and it keeps excellent time. The original snow white porcelain dial is pristine. The unusual dial is fully signed for the retailer JOHN F. Note the unusual blue colored Roman numeral time and seconds markers along with elegant gold scroll hands. This makes for a wonderful contrast with the blue numerals against the gold hands! A small seconds sweep is seen at the bottom with matching gold scroll hands. Please examine the many photos for a close look. All three covers are 14K solid gold and snap tightly closed. The inside rear cover is stamped. 14K 255704 with the diamond seen bezel set at the center. The inside of the polished 14K gold cuvee is stamped DUBOIS W. All serial numbers match, proving the watch to be all original. The watch has also been professionally tested and is fully guaranteed to be solid 14K gold.
