HAMILTON 992 ELINVAR 21 JEWEL 16 SIZE MODEL 10 BOC CASE RAILROAD POCKET WATCH

16 size 21 jewel open face lever-set 992 Elinvar pocketwatch. Very nice example of this high grade 1930′s era railroad watch. Watch is fronted by its correct double-sunk enamel bold Arabic numeral dial and is housed in a 10K yellow gold-filled Wadsworth Model 10 Bar Over Crown factory case signed “Hamilton Railroad” on the top of the crown. Movement serial number is 2626960. Running and a very nice looking movement with excellent color and luster and just some typical mild surface marks. Dial is superb with no flaws. Case is very nice with a strong in hand look and just some small bits of wear to brass at the high edge of the bow and in a few very small strips along the high ridges of the case bezel and frame.
