If you think of American timepieces, one name that will come to mind is American Waltham. Here is a Circa 1903, Size 18, Model 1892 Waltham Vanguard 23 Jewel, Diamond End-Stone Railroad Pocketwatch. It is a True Beauty!! The Model 1892, Diamond End-Stone movement is marked Vanguard, Waltham, 23 Jewels, Adjusted with the serial number. Dating this timepiece to the 1903 according to published production records. It is in Excellent running. The Lever Set , movement sets and winds properly as well as keeps excellent time. The dial is quite remarkable. The Double Sunk Hard Enamel Dial is in excellent condition. It has Black Arabic Numbers with outer black minute markings. It is marked Waltham beneath the 12 position with Blue Steel Spade Hands which are excellent as well as the subsidiary hand. The Yellow Gold Filled, Hunting Case is in fine condition. It is hallmarked for the Keystone Watch Case Company, 1777008. Glass Crystal free of any scratches or marks completing this gem. WILL BE INITIATED on the 4th day.
